Manifest Your Golf Desires

“The Alcero book captures the essence of all of my knowledge of the past twenty years of golf, along with my inspiration to share with you the enlightenment I have been blessed with from so many souls that I have encountered. The Alcero Method™ is the distillation of all that I have thought of up to now”. Al Owens, author of Manifesting Your Golf Desires

Below are excerpts from the new Alcero Book
being released this Spring!

Your perception of golf………Each season golfers begin their new journey wondering the same question...”how will I perform this year?” The answer for your entire season really is closer than you think. In fact, you will discover it the first time you play that year!

…………you leave the clubhouse for the range and putting green. You notice how the grass is a little greener than you expected. After all, it has been a long cold winter. You feel the breeze on your face and temperature of your body in the spring air.It is that perception that is the first step to a successful golf season. Your senses are the key to starting your season in the right direction. When your senses are heightened your mind starts off with less clutter when you reach the first tee. Many golfers are amazed at how their first round of the year really turns out to be a lot better than they thought.

How can that be? You haven’t been to the range that much, haven’t practiced your putting or chipping, but your game seemed kind of easy and you really enjoyed that first round of the year…..

Starting your season with that greater perception of things around you puts you on a simplified but heightened path towards success. When on the course listen to hear the birds and simple sounds that are around the course. Feel the ground under the balls of your feet as you walk along. See the beautiful course and nature around you.

Each time you place your hands on the club, sense the touch in your fingers and feel the weight of the club head. All these items help to increase perception, which takes your mind away from your analytical things you are used to doing on the course…………

Here is what golfers are saying
about this great new book!

Manifest Your Golf Desires is truly one of the easiest and best golf instruction books I have read.

It throws the "rule book" of golf instruction out the window.

No longer will one need to spend hours beating balls to improve their golf game.

By applying the principles of Mr. Owens "triangle" theory each individual unlocks the inner knowledge and skills to improve his/her golf game.

WOW, there was alot of information in this book. I know Al is preparing a workbook to accompany this..I look forward to it.

I did not know my mind affected my game so much. Now I know that how I am thinking about each shot really can affect me.

Manifest Your Golf Desires was a very easy and fun book to read.

I especially liked Al's personal stories involving PGA Tour players Tom Kite and Ben Crenshaw.

It's a fun book to read and it offers many new ways for anyone to approach their golf game so they improve.

Diane Burge, Orlando, FL

I really was impressed with Al's new book. Manifest Your Golf Desires opened my perspective about my golf game.

Many of my previous problems were the result of a poor approach to each of my shots.

With the knowledge of this book I have changed my game completely and began to reduce my scores the first time I played.

It simply is a great read!

Find a Shot That Feels Good….what is it you trying to accomplish each time you swing and play a hole?

To find this you must determine what you want to create each time you step up on the tee of a hole you are going to play. Par, birdie, perhaps a bogey is all you wish.

Next is the shot in front of you, where do you want it to go? This is considered focusing intentionally on a specific shot or creation that you are trying to produce.

One of the keys here is for you to objectively look at yourself and ask “how do I feel about this shot?” Let’s say you are on the tee of a par four with three bunkers on the right of the fairway and a marsh land to the left of the fairway. The bunkers are about 220 yards out leaving 150 yards into the green.

You could hit the tee shot down the middle 250 yards leaving you about 120 yards out. Or you could play it safe, stay short of the bunkers if you were to hit it off line and hit a tee shot 200 yds leaving you with a shot of approx. 170 yds to the middle of the green.

Either play is a good one, but what is the one you “resonate” with or “feel” best about? Why do I mention these two words? You have to take a good look at yourself here and reflect on shots you had in the past. You will notice that the ones you felt best about or thought you could create easier than other shots are generally the ones you pulled off the best……………

More "Breaking the Mold" Excerpts
from Al Owens' New Book

Deliberately Intend to Enjoy Your Whole Day of Golf……In order for you to truly enjoy your round you must examine all the steps taken before and during your round and enjoy the total process of the day. Your deliberate intent for a particular round of golf should include the enjoyment of all the steps taken while in the process of manifesting your round of golf.

This deliberate intent to create an enjoyable round can start the moment you wake up for the day you are to play. Focus your mind on enjoying all aspects of your day up to your round. This may seem like you are trying to put yourself in a good mood for the whole day…and that is basically what I am suggesting.

The way you look at things really has an affect on the outcome of things you face that day. If you start your day off thinking about a previous bad round of golf, you are carrying that negative energy with you to the course and setting yourself up for more negative outcomes…..

Your Triangle for Success…..Your swing is an extension of you, and if you are not in tune with yourself or your game the day you play, the chances you have of playing well are dramatically reduced.

…… the “triangle of success” as I call it, is the keys to delivering your shots to the areas you intend for them to go. Having one without the other will cause your performance to drop by one third of what the potential there is for you. All aspects of the triangle lead to the next, and they continue to travel back to you as the center.

……..The first section of the triangle is you. You are the individual holding the club, so the feelings and sensations you have are very important as you approach the shot. You need to sense the club in your hands.

……..You need to be relaxed and comfortable as you prepare to make your shot. You also need to be comfortable with the ball. By this I mean you need to feel an invisible line from you heart or soul to the ball. This “connection” between you and the ball is very important. It creates the first bond in the triangle, between you and the ball. You need to see the ball in a very positive way.

……After you have felt the ball connect with you, next you need to connect to the target. This is the second connection in your triangle of success. As you are taking your address and occasionally looking at your target, it is important that you sense and feel where you want the ball to land or end up.

…….. The third part of the triangle of success is the target and you! You have to believe that the target and shot you have in your mind is possible. That sounds simple, but how many times has your ego told you to try this shot because someone of your age or size should be able to do it?

Reclaim Your Eagerness When You Play Your Round………Your eagerness has a lot to do with the success of play individuals have while on the course. There is a correlation between eagerness and success you may not realize existed in your game.

……..You need to approach each shot with eagerness and belief in your game. Accept the shot at hand as an opportunity to show what you’ve got. Each shot is your chance to show off to the world! Be eager to take on these shot.

……..When your round of golf is going well the eagerness builds. In fact you should notice that with no hesitation whatsoever, you eagerly anticipate the new successful shots you are about to create while on the course that day! These successful shots are an inevitable result of your positive participation in your round of golf.
