Jun 30, 2009, Learn To Experience Posting Your Desired Score Before You Begin
I have taken the time to explain to many of you that the your visions, goals and aspirations have everything to do with the success of your golf game you then see.
Specifically if you can visualize certain shots and believe them possible, then you can manifest them. However still some have told me that is not enough. They try this, however they do not see their desired results.
A simple way to look at this is to envision yourself shooting a certain score or winning a tournament. Holding the trophy up after your round is a great way to look at it also. The key here is to vision this before your start.
If you talk to any champion they will tell you they practiced for their shot at winning the US Open or The Masters. They would put themselves in imaginary positions with chances to win, and then would proceed through their imaginative round to win the championship they desired.
Many have imagined themselves holding the Claret Jug or wearing the Green Jacket. This imagined victory sends a signal to the universe of what a particular desire is so it will come forth.
What brings it forth?
Your emotion and belief that it will!
However you must understand that just as you have been told to visualize the ball going into the hole before you putt it in, you should also imagine the outcomes you desire for an overall round. This simple approach must also be used when changing your swing mechanics. You must have the proper picture in you mind to create the positions of the club in your swing before you attempt them.
To further explain a little, attached is the introduction to my book Manifest Your Golf Desires. It gives you a little insight as to the possibilities of your belief when you play.
Remember, your imagination is images of the mind expressed. Proper images will create your desired game! No images or poor ones, leave you empty handed and on the same reoccuring path of frustration and failure.

Jun 8, 2009, Discover Your Emotional Barometer To Better Your Golf Game
Building off of just one good shot is all it takes to improve your golf game. That one good shot inspires us to produce another good one every time.
The seed of belief is planted within ourselves when we see the result of a good shot. We then feel the emotion of pleasure within us as the good shot falls near or on the intended target.
This inspiration continues as our emotions build desires for greater and greater results. However it is at this point in the inspirational stage that many golfers fall to the side and the production of good shots ceases.
That is because golfers do not resonate, or believe in the possibility of better results in their shot making. They choose a shot that they SHOULD be able to make, rather than one the BELIEVE they can make.
Many players see others create shots that they think they should be able to also, based on their age, ability or experience in golf. This is where your ego or mind jumps in and tries to point you in a direction it thinks you should be.
But you must not let these areas take over in your game.
You must be firm in your stand and learn to sense how you feel about particular shots, build off that feeling and resonate with the possibility of creating the shot you desire.
In order to create the desired outcome of particular shots you must believe in the possibility of that shot. This belief cannot just be a small emotion within you stating “I feel pretty good about that shot, I can make it”.
If you dig deep within yourself you must feel the emotion behind the desired outcome. On a scale of 1 to 10 some shots probably come off as a five or six, not too convincing to say the least. The emotional belief you have with shots needs to be at least above a seven or eight to really assist you in believing you can create the shot you desire.
This emotional scale helps you determine whether or not you resonate, or believe, with the possible shot at hand.
As you can see it is as if you have an “emotional barometer” measuring your every shot. Acknowledging that barometer is very important to the inspiration of your game. If you understand how you are feeling towards a particular shot then you can evaluate the situation to determine if this particular shot you are desiring is a good one or not.
Determine what may feel or resonate better to you when faced with different shot options. Obtain your barometer reading of each shot option and commit to the club selection and the shot at hand that feels best.
May 28, 2009, Let Go Of How You Think Your Round Should Go
So many times in golf players think the swing has to be accomplished a certain way. Golfers also believe their round of golf should follow a particular path.
Think of one of your favorite par 5’s you play for example. You have hit that green in regulation many times and even got home a few times in two. Your mind has this pre-conceived thought, on in three, two putt at worst for par.
Then you play the hole and slice the tee shot into the bunker and your vision of the easy hole escapes your sight. You see trouble and difficulty in the sand and this was not the way it is supposed to go.
You were wanting to control the hole, and have the outcome of the hole (a par- 5) occur in a certain way. You lose that control and thus you lose the belief in your self and your game.
By letting go of these pre-conceived or controlled thoughts of how the hole should have played, as you see your ball in the bunker, your round of golf can still have tremendous wonderful results.
Your ball in the bunker is merely a path to the final desired destination of par. Accept the shot and go on from there.
Jump into the bunker and make your next swing and follow the ball to the green with the desire to make par. Be anxiously anticipating a good outcome of the hole as you play it.
Your shot out of the bunker may not have gone as far as you wished, so your fourth shot may be the one that launches your ball on to the green. That still leaves one stroke left for your par 5.
If you concentrate your energy on negative situations while on the course, chances are, more negatives situations will come your way and your round of golf will deteriorate right in front of your eyes.
Placing your energy on positive outcomes is much more beneficial to your round of golf.
A good way to keep your mind open to positive outcomes on the course is to revert back to past experiences either on a particular hole you have played before or particular situations with the game while on the course, such as remembering the success you have had in a similar situation you now face.
When visualizing shots, PGA Tour players assist their games by associating a shot in front of them with a positive outcome from a shot like that in the past. When you see a group of 2 or 3 in a playoff, usually the players with more experience perform better because they have more situations to draw from and associate at that moment. That association with success is very positive for any ones round they are playing.
The pre-conceived outcomes you take in to the round can destroy you. Be open to all possibilities. Welcome different shots.
May 13, 2009, Advancing Your Golf Game With The Alcero Method
There are many areas of your golf game that need attention in order for you to accelerate to the level of play you desire.
Determining what those areas are that need improvement would be the first step to going down the path to a better golf game this season. My book Personally Plan Your Golf can assist you in that area if you really have no idea where to start.
On the course your game has numerous areas that all need attention, your tee shots, fairway approaches with irons and hybrids, short game of pitch shots and then around the green with your chipping techniques and methods you use.
Of course one of the most important areas left is then on the green with your putting, and you probably spend the least amount of time there with your practice routine so you may want to adjust that this year.
With so many areas and so little time to work on these areas from a fundamental and mechanical aspect many ask how can I improve with all this practice needed?
Many players venture to the practice range to improve their golf game and work on the basics of their swing, fundamentals and mechanics. You may find many good players that practice at a range from time to time. Perhaps you are one of them?
But when this practice is all done and over, the course is still the area that is going to measure your game, good and bad. With that you must realize that beyond these good practice methods you hopefully implement, you will have to use the other aspects of your creative self to generate the game you desire to see.
Years ago when working for a major golf school and working with 10-15 students each week in 3-5 day formats of teaching, I saw the same things with those individuals. They would have to have something more to assist them with their golf game. Thus I began my quest to create that something more, and that is why I created The Alcero Method.

May 6, 2009, Listen To What The Experts Say At The Players Championship
Once again The Players Championship is upon us and of course the talk immediately heads towards the famed 17th hole and island green. It may be the most famous hole in all of golf.
If you have played it, you know that your friends will not ask you what you shot at The Stadium Course. They will ask - what did you take on 17?
The average player loses three golf balls there when they play. The course recovers 120,000 golf balls from the lake at this 137yd hole each year. 22% of players in the final round found the lake in last years tournament!
So you can see it is a tough hole and a mental giant when golfers approach the tee. Their mind set and actions set the stage for what will happen each time they play.
An acquantance of mine, Dr. Rick Jensen is a renown sport psychologist who has worked with over 50 tour professionals recently wrote an article about the famous 17th hole at the TPC.
In it he mentioned the average player experiences a range of performance-inhibiting symptoms - elevated heart rate, shortness of breath, fear of embarrassment, etc.
He suggested to reverse these by taking longer deeper breaths when facing difficult shots. Slow down your pre-shot routine to slow your heart rate down. When you doubt a club selection, pick the club that feels best to you and commit 100 percent to how you need to hit it.
My Alcero Method agrees totally with Rick's words here, I always state to find the club that feels BEST to you when you are about to make your shot. Your feelings, beliefs and emotions are your guiding light to the path best taken when you play golf.
Dr. Jensen also suggests to focus on the opportunity of a situation in golf, not the threat of a bad shot.
I state in my book Manifest Your Golf Desires the difficult shots you face are your opportunity to show off to the world what you can accomplish with a particular shot in front of you. It is important to keep your mind on the intent of where you want each shot to go, your intentions set the stage for the manifestations you then see when you play.
As you can see the experts agree with my thoughts, methods and teaching and tour players know the most positive outcome in their golf game will come from their more positive approach.
Make your next round a positive opportunity for your golf game to reach its highest potential!
Apr 27, 2009, Learn To Visually Create Your Golf Game
I was watching Personal Lessons from the Pro's the other night on The Golf Channel and the guest tour professional was Raymond Floyd. Raymond of course has won numerous events on the PGA Tour including several majors.
He was teaching two mid-handicap players during the show and in one segment instructed them to visualize where they want the ball to go and see it travel all the way to the pin. He added you must visually imagine and see where you want the ball to go before you hit it. He added you need to see it in your mind as if you were to walk the ball along the path you intend it to go.
Raymond's point is an exceptional one because your mind must have the vision of where you want the ball to go before you attempt your shot(this also is part of the plan I speak about in much of my articles and writings and my newest book I will release soon!).
If you have no idea (or vision) of how you see the ball traveling then how can you expect to get the ball to your desired location? The process of this is known as Creative Visualization.
Creative visualization achieves this by allowing you to experience the object of your visualization by means of the powers of your imagination, and the more you can experience utilizing all of the senses, the more you integrate the object of your visualization into your conscious awareness, and the more it becomes your experiential reality. When your counscious mind sees and understands what you are intending to create, it then makes it easier for your mind to accept before you attempt the shot.
The visualized reality you see is then assisted in the manifestation process by the amount of belief you have in the shot you are trying to create. This belief is increased by the conscious mind through the creative visualization you implement before each shot.
By visualizing the shot (using your senses) and then finding the resonating belief with each shot, you greatly increase the chances for you to hit the ball where you wish to.
Another important point here is to consider what process you use before you hit each shot. Do you have a pre-shot routine?
The pre-shot routine is very important here because it allows you the space to use your creative visualization techniques before each shot. How you develope the routine is up to you, however as you can see here it is important to use the routine to give you the space to visualize the shot you want.
To reach new levels in your game, visualization techniques are simple methods that empower you to connect with your conscious mind and build the vision of each shot. This vision will begin to lower your scores almost immediately when done right.
Apr 17, 2009, Perception To The Start Of Your Golf Season
As a new season begins for every golfer the question they ask themselves is ... “how will I perform this year?” The answer for your entire season really is closer than you think. In fact, you will discover it the first time you play that year!
As you step out on to the course for that first round your expectations are not really that high, in fact you are really just happy to be out and “enjoy the course” as they say.
You will be so excited to make it to the course to play with your usual foursome, it will seem like it has taken forever for this day to arrive. Actually your arrival to the course for one season will probably resemble a lot of other seasons.
As you are getting your clubs out of the trunk and tying your shoes, your eyes are wandering the parking lot looking for familiar cars or faces. You are noticing the new flags on the greens, what new arrivals are in your golf shop and what specials the course is offering for the new year.
You leave the clubhouse for the practice range and putting green. You notice how the grass is a little greener than you expected. After all, it may have been a long cold winter. You feel the breeze on your face and temperature of your body in the spring air.
Your perception of most areas you will notice is heightened, more now than it would be in the heat of August when you have been to the course many times previously that season.
It is that perception that is the first step to inspiring you to a successful golf season. Your senses are the key to starting your season in the right direction.
When your senses are heightened your mind starts off with less clutter when you reach the first tee.
Many golfers are amazed at how their first round of the year really turns out to be a lot better than they thought. How can that be? You haven’t been to the range that much, haven’t practiced your putting or chipping, but your game seemed kind of easy and you really enjoyed that first round of the year.

Apr 6, 2009, Your Golf Improvement Needs A Pyramid of Progress
If you think about the best learning experiences you’ve ever had, they most likely had three characteristics:
They took place over a period of time.
There was mutual respect between you and the instructor.
You spent most of your time doing something in a hands-on type situation.
My daily golf instruction developed here for Alcero Golf uses a pyramid of progress to utilize a simple step by step evolution to improve your understanding of the golf swing and improve your level of play.
This is obviously very important because my students are all here to achieve one thing…Improvement!
There are three key phases to help you learn and understand your swing in golf instruction.
The first is “Currently”, the second is “Ideally”, and the third phase is “The Program”.
To look at your current game you need to take a look at three major components of your golf game:
* The grip
* The body
* The golf club
Make sure your grip is in the proper place and one hand is not in more command than the other in your swing.
Your body needs to have balance and be in alignment to your target (parallel to your target line).
Your clubs need to be the correct shaft, length and lie for your body type and swing (any local professional or fitting center can assist you here).
After clearly understanding where you currently are with your swing you will need to go into phase two of our golf instruction. This is where you would ideally like to be. This may take the assistance from a friend or local professional to help you with the four areas all good swings have in commmon.
Those four things that all great golf swings include are a proper grip, proper posture, proper alignment and proper balance points. These four components can all take place with one key thing happening - a proper pivot.
The third step with your pyramid of progress is the program or plan. Here at Alcero Golf I implement my “Essentials of the Swing” program to assist players.
You can implement your own program by coming up with a plan for improvement this year on your own of course.
To find out more about creating that plan, sign up of our Free Alcero Desires Newsletter and I will send you my ebook Personally Plan Your Golf. It is totally free and I encourage you to read to find a plan that will work to improve your game this year.
You invest alot of time and money into your golf game each year, the only limits you have in the development in your game are the ones you put there yourself.
Create a pyramid of progress and get going on making 2009 your best year in golf ever.
Mar 13, 2009, The Direction Of Your Golf Game This Season
The beginning direction for your ascension into this year of golf could be a parallel of the reality you will see each day of this year. To determine both, you must step back and determine which direction you wish to take.
To elaborate on your golf game, perhaps you could look at this coming season as you would when you are arriving for a large outing at your local golf course. Usually there are many golfers involved in these outings and it is not realistic to send them all of the first tee together, since you all would wish to end at the same time and celebrate your round of golf with dinner and awards after your day in the sun as they say.
When large groups of golfers take part in these outings golfers are paired into foursomes and sent out in a shotgun format where one group will start on each hole at the same time. However to get to your desired destinational first hole, all golfers are gathered for instructions, introductions, etc first and then they proceed to the course with great anticipation of success. I suggest you approach this year with the same attitude.
Perhaps you or your group wish to start on an easy hole, a short par five for example. So be it! Lets assume your first will be that short par five where birdie is the norm and eagle not out of the realm, in fact you really believe you will leave your first hole 2 under par!
Of course you could draw the cart that sends you to the longest par three, over 200 yards and you thus would hope at best for par. I guess it is chance as to where you would be assigned for the outing. Or is it?
Who is to say you could not birdie the par three and already be one shot up on the field? What joy would that bring to you and your group?
So as you approach the clubhouse when you drive in for your outing (or this new season) you must align your beliefs that the right situations, path and circumstances will follow you this year to improve your golf game. Your expectation of joy that you would feel with the birdie or eagle of the two holes mentioned should also be the expectation of joy you will see in your golf game this year. Where does that joyful result come from?
Simple. Finding joy in all of the things that surround you with your game when you play. Make the effort to have fun this year each time you play or practice, and expect to have joy and fun when do play. One attracts the other, so if you find joy in the parts of your game you practice or participate in, then a more joyful experience awaits you as you proceed with the direction of your game this year.
Mar 7, 2009, Some Suggestions To Start This Golf Season
In the last few months I have seen many golfers chomping at the bit to get out to play golf, and with a few breaks of warm weather here and there it is ever closer. As you set your sights on the coming rounds and practice days you may wonder where to you start this new season to find a better result than you had last year.
One simple suggestion I would give you is to practice and play within yourself with each and every shot you attempt. I'm sure you have heard this before, but at the beginning of the season it is incredibly important.
Each day I see many test new clubs, drivers and irons really wanting to buy the club that will turn their game around. But sadly, many don't find the miracle club at first. They really can't because there swing is rusty and they are not hitting on the center of the clubhead at all with any of the clubs they try consistantly.
No doubt, if this is the situation on a practice range, it will also be the situation when they arrive at the course for their first rounds this year.
So I suggest that you concentrate on identifying what a solid shot feels like when you are first practicing this year. To assist this, place some masking tape (or face tape) on your clubhead to see where you are striking the ball on the clubhead. The toe, heel or sweetspot?
Identify the sweet spot shots, bring those feelings forward with you to the next shot you attempt and try to re-create that shot again and again. This is one of the most powerful ways to imporove your game because you get out of your own way and don't worry about technique so much. Re-creating a solid shot from feel of the swing is an intuitive ability every golfer has but does not really know how to utilize properly.
You will notice to do this you must have a smooth tempo and not rush your swing or try to hit it as hard as you can. When you do swing too hard, your poor shots off the toe or heel will return and the results will be slices, high short shots or the dreaded pull hook.
You can be your best teacher at times and at the start of the season teach yourself to swing within your abilities and feel solid shots, expect solid shots and then you will see solid shots.
You will see a more penetrating ball flight, one you can control and your confidence will be extremely high as you approach this season. Use your senses, such as feel of the clubhead, and sight of a better ball flight to enhance your game this season. You are the creator of your game as I always state, never the victim, and your abilities are greater than you think.
Feb 15, 2009, Assesing Your Golf Game For This Season
Warmer weather is just around the corner for those in the midwest and eastern United States, so golf is gaining on the minds of many. In speakng to many golfers these last 30 days or so they are ready for change in their current game.
These golfers certainly are seeking change and are ready to buy that change as they see the new golf products which are continuing to be released now. Anticipations are rising for greater success this year due to better equipment like that new driver, putter, etc.
However finding this success through equipment alone is not the total answer you probably need. There is more to the puzzle than one club I am sorry to say. It is time then for you to step back and evaluate all of your golf game. A hard analysis may be needed and the results may scare you a little. But with no assesment and awareness how can you improve?
Golfers seek to improve but dont know where to start. I ask many players to tell me their weaknesses, and most take a big pause to think of one. When I hear that pause I know I have their attention, and a light is turning on inside them to see that some assessment is probably needed.
Any change in your game will be a challenge to create for improvement. You have many habits when you play, so time will be needed to fix those. So identifying the parts of your game you do think you can address this season is a good place to start.
Some players can immediately identify with a part of the game they wish to improve. However I can dig a little deeper with golfers to find other areas that may need attention. So there may be several areas over this year that you can work at with patience while not trying to fix them all at once.
You may think you don't have time to fix all things. I agree, but by identifying the areas that could improve sends a signal forward that change should be made. Your intention is set, and the path will begin for change to occur in your game.
Driving better, more distance, getting up and down when missing the green or decreasing your putts per round to under 32 or so. Technique and strategy will be needed to find these changes and a local pro may be the one to help you find the path to an improved game.
Keep it simple in your approach to improve, assess your game and expect improvement to come to you in 2009. Seek assistance when needed and be a little more aware this year of your thoughts when you try to improve. Focus on the goal not the previous poor results. Intentions, belief and emotions are all vital parts of your game along with swing mechanics and of course equipment, but one club can not fix all the problems in your game!
Jan 27, 2009, Your Golf Game - Wondering, Wandering and Wakening
For so long you have probably wondered when you would find the pieces that fit together to build the golf game you truly desire. You are no different than the rest of the golfers I'm sure.
Within your wondering moments were anticipated times of achievement arriving for you that would easily send you to the course again to continue your quest. A quest like so many that have wandered to and fro hoping to find the equipment, techniques and methods that could move your game to higher levels each year.
As you wandered more you probably have been affected by your friends and their purchases and beliefs as they strive to conquer the holy grail of golf also. But there may be something wrong with that picture or premise as you moved forward.
You relied on others rather than yourself. You must waken to your own self or awaken to your true potential.
Wakening in golf is not so hard if you understand that the path before you needs a picture first of where you wish to go this year. Can you envision the type of shots you wish to make? The lower scores you desire to record? The joy and happiness you will have each time you play well?
Many golfers only hope that these circumstances will come to them through an external force or gift from where ever. But to Waken to golf you must awaken to yourself first and understand that these great changes will come from you. That is possibly a changing of the guard in your mind about how you create your golf game.
However the fact remains that with proper golf instruction, a sound fundamental approach in strategy when you play and equipment that matches your body, size, game is all that is needed to step off into this new year of golf.
Stepping off can be frustrating and scary if you do not think there is a net there to catch you. So you may just succomb to accept that your golf game is a result of fate determined by something else. So be it I guess.
But you could have looked at 2009 with the changing belief that you create your game, it will get better, your scores will improve and your enjoyment will rise also.
The answers to how this better scenario would arrive to you is not important at this time. What is important that you awaken your 2009 golf game to change and a higher result. So take that step, leap off the pier and expect your better golf game to arrive for you this year.
Jan 11, 2009, Trouble Manifesting Your Golf Game? Try Being Your Game
Many golfers have great desires for their golf games and as this new year begins, so do new intentions for success,
Hopefully your path to a better game has involved a vision of what you wish to create. Without a path or vision, how would you know where you are going?
With your vision planted, next arises the way in which you would manifest your golf desires. If your grand dreams have not really occured yet, perhaps there is another way in which you can approach 2009 and create better results.
To attract the results you desire you must be able to identify how you would feel or be when your desired game appears when you play. To expand on this further, it is not a matter of only seeing the vision, practicing, etc and then awaiting your results to finally occur.
Many have written me concerning their desires and the lack of results that they see. When this occurs, I ask them how would they feel when these better events did occur.
Almost all state that their confidence would be greater, their energy would be higher and their enjoyment of the game would be more consistant from one round to the next.
But as you can see this chain of events is indeed a chain with links and most believe the links cannot be seen until the previous one has been experienced.
However there are ways to jump certain links if you have the perception to do it. Perceiving is everything as I have stated many times. Thus if you can perceive your new reality or golf game more readily, the manifesting of that game will occur much faster.
Being the golfer you wish to be involves the energies of BEING that golfer. You must then experience that being before you play. This can be done quitely at home, in the car or on the practice range. The choice is yours.
Currently you probably perceive your golf game at a certain level with plenty of room to grow. I suggest to many to perceive a different reality or outcome.
When you practice or play from a state of being that better player, you then are working from an energy of already being there which is positive, rather than from one of hoping you are there which has doubt and a negative energy.
So take a new approach this year and operate from an area of being where you wish to be. Identifying with this energy alone can create much faster improvement indeed for your game. Be the game you wish to be.

Dec 30, 2008, Stepping Into Your New Golf Game
The new year is almost here and you probably have some resolutions made for 2009 in many areas of your life. Hopefully you have included your golf game with your new resolutions of this coming year.
There are obviously many past experiences you have created in your golf games, and hopefully you do not brude on the poor events or outcomes that have been part of that past.
To Step Into a better reality of your golf game for 2009, begin to look back at your many accomplishments or good outcomes you have received. This should include not only this past year but also the many positive experiences from all years past.
Those better or lighter feeling outcomes are of a high or happy virbration in your energy and life. The fact is, you have succeeded before and those successes can be drawn upon for more great outcomes.
Im sure you have heard PGA Tour players state once the get their first win or first major victory, they have the confidence and belief that more wins will occur again.
Also many tour players state that when they hit a poor shot and are faced with a recovery shot of difficulty, they try to draw upon previous instances of success. These successful golf scenarious from similar situations are then brought to life in their mind, and remembered and result in expecting to do the same thing again.
Better players do not mull over past failures, they look to past successes to build the game they desire
Your ability is there if you can only release it and remember what great things you have done in the past. Remember, golf is a game of positve energy or outcomes. Reflecting on past failures only draws to you more failures.
All areas of your game can utilize these ideas and should be used all the time. Confidence is the stream of energy or power that can enhance any players game no matter what level they are at.
So take the initiative this next year starting right now. Bring those past great shots to mind, smile, and remember how great you felt when you pulled off that great shot.
Step Into your new game for 2009 and expect more great things to arrive, and they will!

Nov 10, 2008, Drop The Old In Your Golf Game And Await The NEW
I have recently re-located to Illinois and am experiencing a whole new type of golfer than I am used to in Arizona. In Arizona, the golf mecca for the United States, individuals are generally open to new ideas and paths to improve, because they are playing so often.
Here in Illinois, golfers want change, but dont seem to know how to let go and find change. I have certainly seen many golfers all over the globe wanting change, and now is the time to allow this change to come to you. First you must identify that change is needed, then you MUST drop you pre-conceived notions of how that change will come. Simply put, for 2009 take a new approach and act on all areas that seem different in your golf game that may improve your game.
Rather than approach this next season the same old way, take action on new methods, create new beliefs of faith in your game and do not reflect on what did not work in 2008. Let go of this last year, let it fall to the side and look to and expect new things to arrive from the most bazarre areas, people and circumstances.
This open approach to a new 2009 can not be forced. As stated below and in my book Personally Plan Your Golf, you must identify change is needed and then allow things to unfold in front of you. Some simple trust of your higher self or soul is needed to allow these new ideas or paths to come to you. Your ego has tried for so long to direct your path, and it generally has not worked I bet.
Now let your spiritual self guide you. You may go for weeks with no direction given to you. If so, reflect to see in those weeks how much you noticed that old methods you did not like, and suddenly you are dropping them, leaving room for new ones to arrive.
The new ones will not arrive if you push for them. Simply let go of what has not worked, and live each moment for what it is, NOW.
Now is the key word for 2009, it will take patience to do it, but the current moment is all you have. Your past golf game has led you to where your capabilities are today, so accept them and begin to trust your spiritual self to show you the way this next year. If it has not worked for you in your golf game in the past, let it fall to the side and then awaite your new direction that will come to you. It can be that simple.
Oct 20, 2008, What Are You Telling Yourself About Your Golf Game?
Many who play the game know at times it feels like you have two personalities on the course when they play.
One personality or voice is telling you it will be a great, fun day.
The other voice is telling you don't hit this next shot in the bunker or the lake.
The voice within each of us is constantly chattering at us pointing out many things. In golf, sometimes it reminds us of previous shots that perhaps failed. Occasionally you will remind yourself of shots that did succeed for you.
Learning what types of thoughts you are implementing when you play is a ground breaking way to improve your golf game.
Part of the challenge for golfers is to accept that they do not always have the best approach to a shot or round. This approach I am speaking about is with your mind.
The Law of Attraction is clear as it shows us that what we draw our attention to, or think about, so we attract to ourselves.
As you practice and play more and more and try to find improvement, I would challenge you to monitor not only your practice routine but also your thoughts that accompany your practice or play.
To take a good look at this, take this one step at a time.
The next time you want to practice, forget that and go play. Play only three holes though.
When you go to play these holes, listen to yourself from the moment you get out of your car all the way to the conclusion of the three holes.
This is a simple late evening excersise that takes you shot by shot and literally step by step down the fairway and forces you to monitor what you are telling yourself when you play.
When you commit to this excersise you will be shocked to really hear yourself and what you are telling yourself.
These thoughts are based on previous experiences and beliefs you have had.
To improve your game you almost have to re-learn how to think and approach each shot as you play.
Once you notice where your thoughts are leading you, you will then be ready to implement new and improved thoughts to allow you to improve your game and lower your scores.
Sep 23, 2008, This Ryder Cup Has Assisted In Evolving Golf To Its Next Level
Reflecting back on this weekends Ryder Cup allows us to see the great movement forward the game of golf has just taken.
Back on June 23rd I wrote a blog about professional golf needing to evolve and rid itself of continuous stereo-types. With Tiger Woods out for the season, the media and others were freaking out and speculation what this new scenario would bring.
The Ryder Cup should settle the PGA Tour executives, golf manufacturers and again the media. Golf rose to the occasion and the players performed beautifully.
Whether you were for Europe or the USA it does not matter. Both sides had great play and the Kentucky crowd certainly filled their role as the 13th man.
Both captains have a historic background with each other and little love loss between them. No matter, this Ryder Cup showed the masses that anyone who plays the game can manifest some great things. With players from all sorts of backgrounds, small towns, large cities, etc. it clearly showed that great golf is not limited to the few, but available to ALL should they choose to experience their greatness.
Thus as golfers around the world viewed these great shots and rounds played perhaps they too will realize the great potential that awaits them for their game. If only they will believe.
The participants in this Ryder Cup certainly have shown what they believe and they made the picture crystal clear of how they can manifest their desires.
These great possibilites awaite you also in the game of golf. Seeing is believing, now we have seen great golf from a larger assortment of players. It is your turn next! Take your potential and run with it and evolve with golf as the rest of the game heads to it's next level.
Sep 20, 2008, The PRESENT MOMENT sets the stage at The Ryder Cup
As we head to day two of 37th Ryder Cup one has to ask themselves, how did the US team finally wake up? It seems the stage was set beginning the night before day one when the city of Louisville placed the US players on stage to rally the players and spectators.
By most accounts from players they simply took in the enormous moment on stage, and found that present moment they were in, absorbed it, enjoyed it, and left knowing they were going to be supported like they had never felt before.
For two years US Captain Paul Azinger has re-formated the selection process of his team and tried to create as many different scenerios to assist his team when the day of play arrived. After one day of play, he has done pretty well to say the least.
However it all comes down to the players themselves as we know, but the one thing captain Azinger kept telling his players Friday was - Stay In The Present!
As captain Azinger stated earlier in the week, 'the past is the past, we cannot control that, we can only create our destiny'. Simple thoughts you could say, but as he has shown, if you can get your players to let go of the past, visualize a prosperous future, and then experience their desires in the present, great things are possible!
Perhaps this particular Ryder Cup has created an atmosphere that does not allow 'What Ifs" to occur. Previously many US players thought What If Tiger does this or Phil does that? Many players and spectators came up with all sorts of possibilities, many fear based, but hoping for the best.
However Thursday night on stage in front of the Kentucky golf fanatics (seems golf is just as big as basketball this month) the US players realized all they had was each other.
This unique squad, minus the worlds greatest player seems to have embraced the present moment for what it is, NOW. Wondering how others will do, reflecting on the past loses really means nothing.
The present moment was utilizied in a very effective way Friday and now the US has a commanding 3 point lead. Your reality is created by implementing visions of your desires with yourself then feeling and believing those desires before they occur. Then, as the US team has shown, you stay in the present and expect great things to come.
Stay tuned to day two to see where golf's greats are led next!
Sep 18, 2008, Vision at The Ryder Cup?
A unique event occured Tuesday morning at Valhalla Golf Club when the European team gathered for a talk at 8am as they proceeded to play their first practice round for The Ryder Cup.
What was so unique? The captain, Nick Faldo, stressed to his players they must learn to play the course first and then visualize their desired results after that.
To expand on this idea, normally players will go out in 3 groups of four, Faldo instead led his team with 4 groups of three, telling the players to get to know the course first. The prior approach of some captains (and Paul Azinger this year) was to send the groups off in possible team pairings for later in the week.
However, Faldo, a 6 time major champion knows one of the premier ideas behind successful manifestation, VISUALIZATION!
On the first tee other team members stepped up to speak about approach of golf and inspire others to create their reality, rather than succomb to what might be, knowing that they are creating their experience.
Visualization is a golden tool to assist players in creating the reality they desire when they do play. Of course most major champions know that visualizing their shots are important. The creative force of the universe is what is behind your golf game you experience.
The best way to start your experience rolling in the better direction is to learn to visualize your desires, and then expect them to occur.
Of course, what you visualize then sets the stage for your experience. I would encourage all golfers to reflect on what they expect and visualize when they play. Prosperity or good results (par or birdie) or Defeat and poor results (bogies, double bogies and slices out of bounds).
So who will win this Ryder Cup? Who knows, but I'm sure the better visualizer of their desires are the ones who have the upper hand before the first tee shot is ever hit!
Sep 7, 2008, Get A Grip On Your Golf Game
Though I have written before about the need for a good golf grip, I thought I would expand on the weight of the situation.
In the many golfers I see each week besides there posture that could be improved and angles of the body at address, the next major area concerns the golf grip.
Specifically, a poor grip will be much heavier than a proper golf grip for any golfer. That poor grip then leads to poor reactions in your swing and body rotation. Thus, the poor grip sets the stage for a chain reaction of positions for the body that are not in your best interest.
The most common area most golfers who suffer from a poor grip is in their left hand. It is generally placed too far to the left and in a weak position. There is a line between your thumb and forefinger that should point between your chin and right shoulder when holding the club properly. Many golfers have this line pointing at their left ear or worse, left shoulder.
If this is you, I would encourage you to find a PGA professional who could work on this with you. This weak position makes the club heavier during the swing.
To feel this, place both hands on the club at address ready to swing. Then drop your right hand off of the grip and take your club back with just your left arm to where the club is parallel with the ground and parallel with your intended target line.
In a weak grip you will notice how the left wrist is bowed and the club feels heavy. This bowing is a result of the support your wrist tries to produce the strength to hold the club effectively.
If you grip is more to the right with your left hand and specifically the pad of the left hand on top of the club, rather than the left, your grip would be in a much stronger position to support your swing. At the same position in your swing with your left arm only again, now the left wrist should be in a more cupped position when parallel to the ground in the backswing. This cupped position feels much stronger and you should notice that the toe of the club points more up at this midway point.
The point here is if the club is heavy, your hands, arms and body have to react to support it in different ways. Leading to poor results.
The weight of the club in your hand can affect many parts of your swing. Check your positions, and if needed seek professional assistance to improve your swing.
Aug 28, 2008, Do You Know What You Are Trying To Accomplish In Your Golf Game?
When playing a round of golf I’m sure you have noticed from time to time how you have had a hard time just keeping your mind on the game.
Your mind wanders off to thoughts about tomorrow or you are remembering what you forgot to do the previous day. This additional clutter of thoughts along with any negative thought interferes even more with the creation of the shots you desire.
Concentrating on your golf game can be a challenge in itself for golfers of every ability level. When you see golfers on TV they seem zeroed in, their face stern and steady with little emotion. Television commentators state that the player is in the “zone”. Are they really that wrapped up in the golf game? Do you have to be the same way in order to better your game while on the course?
Well let’s hope not, after all we are supposed to “Lighten up…and enjoy the game” you know. So how do you accomplish this while on the course? How do you keep your mind focused on the best possible outcome for yourself with each shot? Well, accomplish is the key word here….what are you trying to accomplish each time you swing and play a shot?
Determine What You Want!
To find this you must first determine what you are trying to create each time you step up on the tee of a hole you are going to play. Par, birdie, perhaps a bogey is all you wish. Next is the shot in front of you. Where do you want it to go? This is considered focusing intentionally on a specific shot or creation that you are trying to produce. You are deliberately placing a thought of where you want the ball to go.
When you address the ball, do you really know where you want the ball to go or are you so wrapped up in swing thoughts that you have no idea of what your target is? When standing on the tee of a hole you really must first assess the hole and the possibilities it has for you.
Let’s say you have had a great round and you stand on the 18th tee wanting to finish strong posting a good score. You have been playing well up to this point, so your confidence is high, though you are getting tired and now worry a little about this last hole.

Aug 17, 2008, Practicing Golf Can Make It Perfect - But What Are You Practicing?
We have all heard the term Practice Makes Perfect. Jack Nicklaus has many times stated he practiced with a purpose, then got away from it. It is that simple.
However perhaps it is time to reflect on exactly what some perceive as practice, and what that perception is now giving them.
I was initially astounded that if Tiger Woods is in a practice round and finds himself in a bunker or rough, he moves the ball back to the fairway. He does not feel he needs to practice from bad areas since he DESIRES to play from the fairway in his tournament rounds. He knows his thoughts and beliefs attract his desired outcome. Are all tour players like this?
Obviously not!
Lets take a look at what the number 2 player, Phil Mickelson, believes for his game. Phil works religiously with his teaching pro, sports psychologist and his short game guru, Dave Pelz. Dave is a great short game coach. However as I constantly contend, your expectations and beliefs are reflecting to you your outcomes manifested as you play.
Let us go a little further here and examine an interesting situation with the worlds number 2 player.
In the latest major championship at the PGA in Michigan Phil and his team worked hard at practicing situations he may fall into when playing for this major championship.
However, again I contend, what your thoughts center on, you then thus attract into your experience. I found an ironic situation with this latest PGA Championship for example. With high rough, wet conditions and narrow fairways, it was a tough situation.
The worlds number 2 player found a larger amount of thus un-desired cirumstances that I had recalled from before, but why? Upon review it was easy to see that Phil was working very hard on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at practicing from all these areas that basically were un-desirable when you really play.
This is not to suggest that someone of this caliber, or yours, put their head in the sand and hope for good shots.
But I do suggest that the more attention and energy you place in these poor positions, the more likely you are to attract them into your game.
Using your creative energy from your mind is what sets the path before you when you play. Perhaps the tour players, and you, should reflect more on how the greatest player in the world
expects his round to go?
All of us who play the game know that practice will improve your game. But as Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods know, you practice with your purpose and do not give additional attention to more and more poor conditions.
Phil's latest major really was disappointing to watch, and perhaps a review of beliefs is really needed at this time? With that in mind, how are your current beliefs treating you?
Aug 9, 2008, Creating a new Probable golf game for yourself
Your current golf game is the reflection of the current beliefs you have about yourself and your ability. No doubt, over time you will notice that those beliefs changed about your ability and thus did your results. All golfers have “visions” of what they think they can create in their golf games. Most of these visions are limiting because they think a great amount of effort, practice, patience and determination are needed to create this great change in their golf game.
The current golf game you see is the result of “probable” visions you had of your golf game before. Thus, those previous beliefs and visions you now are experiencing in your day to day golf game. As I have written about before, there are many possibilities in your golf game, and attracting those possibilities to you is based upon your beliefs you have in achieving this or that outcome in your golf game.
The main image you hold of yourself to a great extent sets your restriction to your potential game of probable outcomes you have for your golf game. With each desire you have for your golf game you also have a probable outcome that will accompany you for your golf game. These probable outcomes arrive to you NOW based on your previous set of beliefs that you have had.
However there no doubt are other visions and beliefs you have that are possible. These possibilities are awaiting you, if you will only learn to attract them into your golf game. Currently your swing or golf game results reflect that which you expect to see, it is that simple.
But that does not mean you are only restricted to these certain outcomes you currently are seeing. Other beautiful, uplifting outcomes are at your disposal and can just as easily be activated if you believe them possible. To enact these other scenarios I suggest you turn your attention to the probable outcomes you have for your golf game. These probable outcomes have already been created by you through your vision, desire and imagination.
An example of these outcomes would be of you consistently driving your tee shots a certain distance (that you believe attainable) and down the middle of the fairway when you play.
These probable new desired results will lie dormant or hidden from you until you consciously decide to bring them forward to you in your golf game. Some reflection is needed here for you to realize that what you currently see in your golf game is the result of your previous beliefs about your golf game. As an example, your putting results may have dramatically improved at some point in your golf game based on a tip or technique you attempted saw immediate results and you then attached that belief or experience to your golf game. You consciously decided that this tip or technique is what is needed to improve your putting, and thus it did.

Jul 31, 2008, Who Is Creating The Fruit Of Your Golf Game?
The saying goes, “the fruit does not fall far from the tree”. The fruit of your golf tree has fallen close to you and your thoughts, images and inspiration you put towards any of your items of attention before. But a lot of your “fruit” was created by old ways of thinking.
You have been programmed to see lack in your golf game from your past experiences. However all this time the possibility of abundance has been there with you. You just have not known how to produce new fruit for better results.
The ripeness of your fruit depends on your tree itself. Your tree has grown from a seed to a majestic creation. The root situation accompanying your tree goes a long way towards the type of fruit that will be created each and every season.
Up to now your root situation may not have been that strong and thus the fruit falling from your golf tree may not have been that healthy. But with each season comes new fruit, and with a new approach to golf your root system can be stronger than ever, thus providing you even better fruit than ever before.
It is now time for you to take some new seeds you have for your golf game and create a new tree, a tree that has higher goals and better beliefs. Your senses, thoughts, vision, feelings and imagination can now be the new roots for your tree. These roots can be healthier and more vibrant than before. Use your new recipe for your tree of inspiration, creation, manifestation and enlightenment as seeds for your new success. You have to trust and believe that if you plant these seeds your tree will bear prosperous fruit for you. Do you eat of your new fruit or do you let that possible new fruit just sit there and rot? The decision is yours.

Jul 24, 2008, Pursuing Enlightenment In Your Golf Game
As the process of manifesting your golf swing proceeds you move to the final phase of your produced shots, Enlightenment.
The process began with inspiration you felt to generate a type of swing, shot or aspect of your game you desired. Next you moved on to the creative facet of the game and determined the shots you most aspired to build into your swing or your game the day you play.
Manifesting your intended shot follows next as you use your talents to bring forth the inspirations and creative thoughts to craft the shot that you face in front of you. Following the manifesting of your shot is enlightenment, as you ponder the shot you just created and take from it all the essential heartfelt feelings associated with what you just created.
A New Perspective
As you produce any golf shot on the course you are aware of the result of that shot and you begin to formulate a new perspective about your swing each and every time you finish one shot and move on to the intent of your next one.
Thoughts pass through your mind and sensations flow over your body as you think about what just happened with the shot you just made. Assessments are made about your swing, balance, composure, calmness and the thought processes you put into the shot.
Finding enlightenment with your golf game or a shot you have created requires you to set yourself free from the outcome of what you have created. You can be your worst enemy when you observe what you have produced and take it upon yourself to judge shots you just made, misses that occurred or scores on holes that are too high for your mind to handle.

Jul 16, 2008, Do Your Really Need That New Driver?
Each month I speak to dozens of people who are "seeking" the better parts of their golf games. Unfortunately so many seek the quick fix in technology to veil over their swing problems. This usually occurs with looking into buying that new driver they have heard about.
This is a common theme and one that I am sure you have lived in golf if you are into the game in any way, shape or form. The manufacturers that be are always re-invneting the wheel- or club as it is, and suggesting to you that there new club is the answer for your game.
This of course may be true, especially if your current technology club is over 5 years old. If it is not that old and you consider a new driver, consider again!
Consider your swing instead.
The fundamentals of posture, grip, alignment and balance cannot be short noted or bypassed in golf. If you do try to take a short cut here, your swing will have to adjust to the improper positions you have started with and then a whole chain reaction of things occur to try to fix it literally during the swing. What a mess!
Thus, the next time you seek a new driver, go to some place where they can check your swing speed and ball speed and match it with the proper loft and shaft in a driver. Any pro should be able to assist you here.
Once you have determined those proper parts, compare your CURRENT driver with the possible new one. Then you can begin to correlate the two and see if the new driver is really the better idea.
In over half the people I encounter they then discover that rather than spend 200-400 dollars on a new driver, perhaps a simple series of three golf lessons will create the better game you desire.
Manufactures will cringe when they read this, but it is very true. Overall new equipment and technology are a great thing. The golf ball is designed to stay in the air much longer now and drivers are larger in response to that technology, thus allowing the ball to have more inertia as it releases from your clubhead. A big plus for all who play the game.
Remember though, that proper mechanics are needed throughout the swing for each and every shot. I encourage you to test what I have said, compare your driver with others and really evaluate your swing. Dont kid yourself, YOU may have to change first, not your driver!
Jun 9, 2008, Learn To Detach From The Outcome Of Your Golf Shots
Looking at many different types of shots is not only good for your game, but the larger the arsenal you have in your bag the greater the chance you have of getting out of odd lies and such. Another great reason to look at different types of shots is because it begins to pull you away and detach you from pre-determined outcomes of shots you are making.
It is common for golfers to rely on certain types of shots while on the course, and in the same breath that type of shot usually only has a few possible outcomes. You are limiting your chance for success.
In order to expand the creativity of your game you must be able to expand your possibilities on the course and look at different ways to create shots. Many golfers have a hard time with this because they are so attached to the outcome and if they fear it will not work, they just simply will not try it.
Allow yourself to be open to new shots on the course. All shot making is such a challenge, but you must not be so wrapped up in the outcome of these shots.
In order to really detach from your pre-conceived outcomes you must learn to have an open allowance for all things to be in their own time and space.
This principle is a strong cornerstone for the foundation of not only your golf game, but your life. How often on the course do you fall prey to having to attempt a certain shot a certain way because others think you should? How often to you succumb to your mind telling you a shot you would like to attempt would never happen? Why do you care what others think or your mind is telling you?
Allow yourself to try new shots and detach yourself from the outcome. Embrace the new shots in front of you and think of them as a fun challenge. Open your mind and spirit to new possibilities and allow yourself the freedom to attempt these shots. When you commit to these new shots, do not worry about the outcome. You may or may not pull it off.
Visually create the shot in your mind and feel the shot before you attempt it, see it ending up where you want it to go. If the ball does not make it to your intended target, detach from that outcome and allow yourself to enjoy the shot you just attempted.
Too many golfers get caught up in the results of what they are trying to accomplish, and they take the results too personally. You must learn to not take things too personally and just observe what you are creating around you.
This idea is especially powerful because it shows that if you get mad, such as on the course, you are afraid and if you are afraid you are dealing with fear, which will only hinder your potential golf game.
May 28, 2008, How to Expand Your Golf Game More By Feeling Your Desires
What assists you in creating a good golf game today? Solid fundamentals including proper grip, posture and alignment? Proper balance throughout the body when you swing? Good mental outlook on the shots you are about to create? YES, all of these are vital points in creating the game you desire.
What if I suggested an additional unique way to assist you in your creative process? What if I introduced you to a simple concept that can catapult your golf game very easily and quickly? (so simple you will probably doubt it because it does not take time, pain and hitting ball after ball on the range)
Do you think you are OPEN enough with your outlook on golf and life to possibly accept what I am going to suggest? Well lets find out!
There are always different ways to create what we desire in golf. You are the powerful creator of your game and to believe you are the victim of circumstances is like putting your head in the sand. You don't do with your personal life, so you should not do it with your golf game.
A new and advanced way to consider the possibilities your golf game is to consdider the feelings you associate when you play well. This will take some reflection on your part but a powerful way to attract the results to your golf game you desire is to consider how good you feel when you do play the way you really want to.
So many golfers are led to believe the process of practice and improvement comes hand in hand. However what is the desired outcome? Golfers have the uncanny way of looking at the mechanics of the swing and are they doing it right.
Few suggest to you that since you are the creator of your game, that creation is in direct alignment from what you expect to see at the conclusion of your hard work in the building of your swing.
So an additional way to create your desired game is to dig deep within yourself and realize how you feel when you play well. This can be done with certain shots, putts, holes or the overall feeling you have when you play well. Focusing on this feeling thus attracts more future good feelings to you.
If you can reflect on previous times in your golf game I am sure you will notice that you pictured or worried about poor shots and then you received that exact poor outcome. You attracted that outcome to you as the law of attraction suggests.
To create better results, begin to deliberatly focus your energy on how you would feel when you are playing your best. It is almost like looking at your golf game from your future backwards.
A very unique process, but one that can easily be tried if you can really imagine what it feels to create good golf shots. So do you think you can try that?

May 21, 2008, Balancing Your Golf Game With Your Grip
In many blogs here I have mentioned the need for proper balance in your golf game. These balance areas not only include your physical balance during the swing but also the mental balance you must have in the approach for each shot or hole you play.
However another vital part of the fundamental way you approach your game comes from having a good grip when you play. Specifically, a balanced grip for every shot you attempt.
Many intstructors speak about this and I will assume you have access to books or DVD's describing to you what a good grip is. If you have taken golf lessons, hopefully your intsructor has pointed out to you the vital importance of a good grip with your swing.
Whether I am giving clinics or lessons with any player, I almost always notice the players grip to begin with. It amazes me how the grip sets the stage for set up a player has with each shot.
To illustrate, as you have probably read or heard, there is line created by the thumb and forefinger of each hand when you hold a golf club. These lines should basically be parallel to each other when your hands are placed properly on the grip of your club. These parallel lines should point somewhere between the chin and right shoulder(for right handers) when addressing the ball.
This is a general way to describe where your hands should be, it is considered a neutral position. But what if your lines are not parallel? What is the result.
Well most players I see have there left hand to far to the left on the club (weak position). This poor position can promote an open stance, too much weight on your left side at address and as a result cause poor weight transfer during your swing.
This is a simple way of describing to you how things affect others, however I would encourage you to have someone take a look at your grip in your swing. A proper grip sets the stage for all aspects of the swing to perform as they should. A poor grip disrupts your process and then you develope bad habits to try to hit the ball as you want to later in the swing.
When I was younger I thought the grip was soo boring....and never paid too much attention to it. It is amazing now that I am older how wise I am getting! You must find a proper balance in your grip, otherwise the rest of your swing will suffer and your game will stumble in unnecessary ways when you play. It takes discipline, but the rewards are tremendous and your consistancy when you play will greatly improve.
May 13, 2008, Your Perception Is Creating Your Golf Game (Part 2)
As mentioned in my earlier posting, golf is perceived in many ways by various players. But the reality of your game comes from a simple statement that you should grab hold of and consider to its fullest.
What you perceive you receive!
No doubt you have heard this simple phrase before, however I doubt seriously you have correlated it with your golf game. But the fact is that looking at your game from an inner perspective is what sets the stage for what your receive in your outer manifestations either on the course or on the practice range.
Finding balance in your mechanical approach to golf and the fundamentals you work on all the time are indeed very important for any golfer. If you were to stand on any practice range tee you would immediately notice how many golfers are out of balance, mainly because their fundamentals (grip, posture and alignment) are off before they attempt each shot.
Balance is also needed within someone when they play. The mental approach players implement is just as important to find balance in ones golf game.
If you perceive your game is really off then that perception is driving you to receive more poor results. To stabilize and redirect your results, first you must recognize the reality of what you are manifesting when you play. Then create a plan to find improvement to improve or fix areas in your game that need adjustment.
The simple fact that you identify areas that need improvement, especially from within yourself, sets the stage for improvement to arrive for you.
What you resist persists! Thus, rather than resisting your flaws in your game, go within yourself and accept that change is needed. Embrace that concept and the work then needed to improve your golf game.
Take hold of the perception that change is needed, hold it comfortably in your mind and work toward a program for improvement. Stating that your game is out of sorts and you are constantly slicing your shots only provides more energy or resistance to your circumstances, thus bringing you more of what you do not desire.
Your thoughts go a long way to attracting what you receive when you play or practice so accept that change is needed and welcome the process. This new approach will make your transitions smoother and a better perception of your situation will allow you to receive better results.
Apr 27, 2008, Your Perception Is The Element That Creates Your Golf Game (Part 1)
The power and energy that creates the golf game you see every time you play comes from a simple source.
In that source, your perception is what you may term to be all-powerful within your focus, for this is the tool which you incorporate to be creating all of your reality of your golf game when you play, and your perception is most influenced not by your thoughts, but by your beliefs.
Many of your beliefs require no thought process. Many of your beliefs are expressed so very automatically that many players do not turn their attention to them objectively at all, and they express no thought in conjunction with them, for they ARE automatic, and therein lies the strength of your concentration, and THIS is what shall create your reality. Therefore, in this situation, I would suggest to you that as you allow yourself to turn your attention to your inner self, you may be accomplishing what you seek objectively, for presently more than likely your attention is being held outside of yourself.
For many in golf they take up the energy of others around them, their opponents or the difficulties of the course where they are playing. Sit back and consider for a moment that these energies are outside of yourself, ones that you have believed you have control over. This previous perception may be the center of your weakened golf game that you have been trying to improve.
In order to find a better path for your golf game, consider that as you allow yourself to turn your attention and concern yourself with your inner self, and concentrate your attention upon your acceptance of your self and your golf game and merely allow yourself the freedom to be expressing those abilities that you trust and this opens a channel of energy, in a manner of speaking, that other situations shall draw themselves to you. You need not seek out. These results shall present themselves to you without extra effort.
Another area that you may allow yourself to view is your genuine belief concerning the amount of effort or practice you need to play well. Think to yourself of your definition of practice and your evaluation of this term. Now, as you allow yourself to view this picture, you also may allow yourself to view how very many elements within this picture are assessed in the judgment of negativity, in “supposed-to’s” and“have-to’s”. As you allow yourself to view all of these aspects of your beliefs, you also may offer yourself the opportunity to recognize how this all interplays in your assessment of your abilities of your golf game, your trust of your abilities, and your expression of your individual worth.
As you allow yourself the recognition of all of these aspects that contribute to the makeup, so to speak, of your game, you may also allow yourself to turn your attention, which shall alter your perception, and as you alter your perception, you also alter your game.
Apr 19, 2008, Learn How To Zero In On Your Golf Game
Approaching a round of golf or each individual shot you are about to attempt parallel each other in tremendous ways.
Most golfers I encounter do not realize this and give it very little attention.
Learning to zero in on your round you will play each time includes the strategy you will use for that round. Playing and worrying about your current faults while you play, and trying to fix them on the course is only setting you up to approach those problems, not the course itself. (In addition, concentrating on your negative aspects of your game is only attracting more negative situations)
To zero in on the course, you MUST zero in on each hole first and your strategy to play it. If it is par five, do you feel better getting on in two, three or four (depending on your ability level).
As a reminder, just because you want to get home in two, does not mean you will, especially if you don't believe realistically that you can.
As you begin the hole with your strategy in mind, be open to changing it if a shot or two goes off line. Remember there are infinite ways to play golf and shoot lower scores. It does not have to happen the way you expect or think it should.
Next let's look at a particular shot you face.
For example if you are on the par five and your third shot is 100 yards out, where on the green are you intending to hit the ball?
With each individual shot you must learn how to identify with exactly where you are wanting to hit the ball.
Front of the green, middle, back? Do you believe you can get it close to the pin if it is tucked away in some corner?
Find the area on the green you are most comfortable with for the next shot. The chances of you sticking it near the pin are not that good if you don't believe you can get it there.
Where do you feel and believe you can hit the ball to? That is the most important question.
Many people refer to this as playing safe and see it as cop out. I would strongly disagree with that. You can try to be macho all you want, but if you have dis-belief of any kind in any shot you are about to make, then fear is creepiing in, and that brings in doubt, etc.
How can you realistically expect to hit the ball anywhere with precision if you don't truely believe yourself you can do it?
As I mentioned, there are infinite ways to play a round or a partular hole. As you can also see, there are variety of ways to play each shot.
You must learn how to zero in on what your are trying to create on the course. You must also be open to new opportunities that you will encounter all the time that you play.

Mar 23, 2008, What Is Your Golf Games Real Potential?
One of the pages here on our Alcero website is entitled Golf's Field of Possibilities. I encourage you to take some time and really look at this page.
Your Field of Possibilities is as far as your imagination can go. Literally, what you can imagine occuring in your golf game this year can take hold and manifest for you. The problem most people have with this idea is they either really have no goal for their golf game or they do not believe their skill level will allow them to create that which they desire. As a side note, obviously as your skill level increases you can raise the bar for your greater and greater desires in your golf game.
To reach new goals you should take them one step at a time for your golf game. I am not here to suggest you can go out and birdie your first 7 holes that you play this week. I am however suggesting that the potential is there for you to draw to you the type of golf game you would truly want to see this year.
To use your true potential in your golf game you must understand that your thoughts and beliefs attract to you the outcomes you see manifested on the course. Thus if you wish to improve on your game this year, make a list of the things that you wish to change or improve on and begin to work on them one at a time.
You must have a clear picture of change before it can arrive for you on the course. This takes persistance on your part to know and feel the path you wish your golf game to go to.
The real potential for your golf game sits in front of you, not in your past. To reach that potential you must break down areas of your game that need improvement and work at them. There is no substitute for balance of practice time to work on all parts of your game.
However the pure potential you have to improve will first come from within yourself. This means you must begin to find the milestones you wish to reach in your golf game and its various parts and then work to them in a persistant way.
I am not suggesting that this takes hours and hours of long practice. It does however take a vision of what you wish to create, and the belief within yourself to create what you desire.
Once vision and belief are met, your pure potential can be acheived. You do not need to believe that you are limited to only a certain type of game. Why would you limit yourself?
You always have had access to your true potential in your golf game. This year take the position that this potential is even higher than ever before for your golf game. Set your goals higher this year and reach for your greater pure potential!
Mar 16, 2008, Discover New Ways To Create Golf Shots When You Play
Opening to new ways of creating the golf game you desire is something you should take a serious look at. Up to now, unless your game is at its pinnacle and needs no improvement, the other methods may not have worked. So relax and look into new ways to lower your scores.
As mentioned in recent previous blogs here, discovering new ways to visualize and create from within yourself is the key to seeing the results you desire on the course. You are a powerful creator in all things you do, and discovering new ways to create things is a great way to open new doors of opportunity for your golf game.
The mechanics and basics of the game set the stage for your solid foundation of your swing. That foundation is built off balance in the swing and is a must for all shots to be more consistant.
However to reach further into your creative reality you need to explore the feelings within yourself to find ways to connect to new beliefs and methods that can improve your golf game.
Along with learning ways to visualize the shots you first wish to make you also need to look inside yourself to find ways to feel these visualized shots. Your creative forces within you are much stronger than you could ever imagine!
When playing and using your pre-shot routine make sure to visually create the shot you wish to during this process. To accentuate this visualizing, take deep breathes as you visualize the shot you wish to create and take your time and really feel the shot arriving where you desire it to.
Breathing in these shots is what I encourage golfers to do, because while they are visualizing the shots most get a little nervous in the process and can't learn to believe the visualization they are trying to manifest. Players literally do not believe that the shot they visually wish to make can happen.
By taking deliberate breathes you slow down yourself and connect yourself to your inner self and this connection creates an energy channel to assist you in creating the shots you desire. It opens you to believe more in the great manifesting energies we all have, if we can only access them.
Relax and take deep breathes and trust more in yourself and your creative capabilities. Visually see the ball arriving where you wish it to. Go within to feel, see and KNOW the shots you desire you will see!
Mar 10, 2008, Visually Create Your Shots From The Back Of The Green
Another way to create the shots you desire with visualization is to see the shot you wish to create from the back of the green of the hole you are playing. Thus you create a visual motion picture of the hole you are about to play.
This can be a challenge because as you approach each hole you have so many thoughts going through your mind, and most of them have nothing to do with what you actually wish to create when you play. If you reflect on the holes you play you will probably see that you have very few intentions in your mind before you play each hole.
As you step to the tee you need to determine what you actually wish to create on the hole upcoming. Begin to visually see and imagine how you wish to play the hole. This is not to suggest that it must happen the way you picture it, since the manifestation you see on the hole is a reflection of the beliefs you have when you play.
So when you play each shot picture the shot from behind the ball as you take your address and then go one step further to see the shot you are about to create from the other side of the hole where the ball is landing.
This is a great opportunity to build this motion picture in your mind, see the ball fly towards your target, see it land exactly where you wish it to, and actually see yourself back on the tee or fairway where you just struck your shot!
This is a challenge because it takes patience to do it, and real visualization to do it also. Once you get the knack for it, you create these pictures easier and easier every time. To get better at it, practice on the range from short distances first then to longer ones. You will learn from yourself that the pictures you create of the ball landing where you desire can and will happen, this is very empowering in your golf game!
Learning to see the shots you wish to create is a very powerful tool to learn to use when you play. As you get proficient with this, you will start to see that your visions can be created right in front of you when you play.
To acclerate this process, you can learn to feel and let go and breathe the shots you wish to see manifest in front of you.
Next time we will talk about that part of creating your shots.
Mar 4, 2008, Empowering Your New Golf Swing
I have mentioned in the past few blogs ways to first identify the change you perhaps need in your swing this year, and then ways to proceed to find and introduce change. Once you begin the path to this change it can be a challenge, however with the proper vision of your desires, you empower yourself to bring that change forward.
Being empowered in golf is about dropping pre-conceived thoughts of how you should create your swing. As always , the goal or end result must be visioned to create the path for your achievement.
To take your game to your level you desire you must empower yourself to feel the result and understand that every step along the way is part of the path. You must evolve in your golf game and to do this you will find good days when you play and you will find bad ones.
These circumstances are here because we are only human and mistakes will be made. As you learn from your swing the shots you do not wish to create the new path is set to receive the shots you do wish to create. This path is what allows you to clearly see the true path or shots or scores you really wish to achieve. So many times in golf we are let down because we fear bad results, we do not wish to experience them, but we do then are left to feel worse about our game and ourselves.
This year I challenge you to empower yourself to have the vision of what you wish to create in your golf game and visually see it coming into your experience.
Hold this vision strong in your mind, and adjust to the results you see. Remember that the fundamentals of the swing are important, and most importantly in that regard is having balance in your swing.
At every chance you get, have someone point out to you if you are swinging in balance or not. There are many resources or books on the fundamentals of the swing and balance, so go to them for assistance.
Work diligently on finding balance in your swing along with the vision you hold for your success first. The two go hand in hand, and by holding your vision of greater outcomes to manifest for you, you create the better path to walk down in your reality. Embrace the path and empower yourself to take each step and enjoy yourself every time you play.
Feb 14, 2008, Visually Changing Your Golf Swing This Year
As we continue with our topic of visually creating the swing you desire this year, we will move to our next step to enhance your game.
With our goal of shortening ones swing a little in order to prevent them from going past parallel at the top of the swing, next lets take a look at what you can do to accentuate this process. Previously I mentioned someone should assist you in helping you feel where this shorter swing actually is. This takes patience on your part and the knowledge to realize that your previous swings are ingrained in you and to create new neuropathways of learning it will take 21 days of new visions and drills to create new pathways for your change.
As you practice your shorter swing on the range, begin from the other extreme and really shorten your swing at first. The sensations you receive when you first change will be a little off and where you think your club is at the top of the swing will probably be farther or longer than you realize. Again, have someone monitor your swing progress.
By feeling a much shorter swing at first, you give yourself the permission really to shorten the swing all together.
With each swing on the range, pause and reflect on where your last swing was and where your new swing should be and feel like. This discernment from you is necessary to really get within yourself to feel these new better sensations.
As you proceed on the range, you will need to adjust your pre-shot routine a little (a good pre-shot routine is a must for any golfer!). Your new routine should include at the beginning of your particular routine a visual viewing in your mind of the shorter swing you desire and it should also have the sensation of the feeling of that shorter swing before you step into the ball.
Both these areas of the new visual view, and then feeling sensation assist you in creating the new swing you desire each time. These aspects are better used at the start of each pre-shot routine and then you move to the rest of your routine that would contain your alignement, grip, posture and visual picture of the shot you desire.
As you are on the range and proceed with each shot, use these techniques for every shot you attempt. It is easy to slip back into old habits and just hit ball after ball. Maintain your purpose of creating the shorter swing with each shot by visually seeing the shorter swing, sense and feel it and allow it to unfold in front of you.
With each shot struck, take great interest in where the ball is going and listen to your intuition to see if you think your swing was shorter or longer each time. Correlate the two, have someone assist you by viewing you and take those results and make necessary adjustments.
I will provide more ways to imporve nextime.
Feb 4, 2008, How To Begin Your New Swing Direction This Year
Setting your sights on a new game, new swing and better results is probably what is on your mind, or at least it should be for this 2008 season. To be able to reach your heights of greatness first you must have a desired goal in mind!
I will assume that you have a clear picture and feeling of what you wish to create this year for your golf game. You may be desiring a club championship, more length off the tee, or a way to cure your slice. At very least you must have the end goal in mind in order to create the game you want step by step.
One of the first moves to make is to be able to clearly visualize the swing improvement you may wish for example. This depends on you having a fair knowledge of your swing, how it looks and what faults it has. You may need someone to assist you in this area to show you what might be off in certain parts of your swing.
With that knowledge at hand, you must first begin to then be able to visually create the better swing that you wish to create. This is extremely important to be able to visually imagine (images of the mind expressed) what you wish your swing to look like.
For example, if you have a hard time controlling your shots with fades and occasional pull hooks coming in to your shot pattern and someone has stated your swing is too long (past parallel at the top) you may wish to shorten your swing this year.
Lets assume that is your goal, shortening your swing for better accuracy with each shot. The two two areas that first need to be brought to light is what that swing will look at the top of your swing and then how that will feel at the top.
Someone will have to assist you in letting you know where the shorter swing is at the top of your swing to allow you to sense what it feels like in a shorter position. Once obtained that feeling can be taken away from the course and you begin to visualize and feel what those better positions feel like.
In my next blog Ill discuss what steps need to be taken next to assist you with this powerful, easy process of creating the shots you really desire.
Jan 26, 2008, A Golf Instruction Revelation From Tiger Woods
Though I had stated I would go into the step by step approach to visualize the golf swing in my next blog, it will have to wait a short time. I read something today that is so important for you to see and understand. It is a revelation the greatest golfer in the world has come to terms with and one that I have been writing to you about for over a year!
In the latest edition of Golf Digest (January 2008) - there is a major article on Tiger Woods. I suggest you read it today.
The article speaks of his relationship with his late father, his new child and adjustments he and his coach Hank Haney have worked on in three years.
However in the article is a quote from his caddie Steve Williams pertaining to what happened to Tiger after returning from the British Open at Carnoustie. Steve explains: "Tiger came back from Carnoustie, and instead of spending hours on the practice field, he just tried to picture how he wanted to swing the club. He used what Hank was telling him to do-which had been having quite a bit of difficulty putting into practice-and went about getting swing thoughts organized and the right mental picture".
Tiger arrived at next tournaments having done little actual practice, but had a solid MENTAL IMAGE of himself and of his swing that he and his coach have of what they want the swing to look like.
Tiger has simply used his images to visually create the swing he desires, and then creates it!
Tiger has had an understanding of the swing changes he has taken into his swing. You must learn and understand your swing also through what ever means, such as golf pro or friend or swing guru assisting you.
The article also mentions that Tiger never visited the range for a post-round practice session the rest of the year. He is learning more and more that your visual imagery will cut through the barriers that prevent your golf game from evolving to its highest level.
Obviously good mechanics and practice techniques and an understanding of your swing are a must in your golf game.
But as Tiger is learning through his own revelations, it is not all about hitting ball after ball. The mind and your visualization are the cornerstones to your success in golf!!
As Tiger heads today into the third round of the Buick at Torre Pines it is no wonder he has established a four shot lead. His swing is very good, his body supremely fit and now his mind even sharper than ever. 2008 should be a great year for him. What about you?
To hit your new levels in golf, learn to use visual images and proper mind thoughts to support your actions. When you do, your game will evolve to the highest levels you could imagine!
Jan 8, 2008, Creatively Visualize Your Golf Game Step By Step
If we can see ourselves as playing a certain way, hitting certain shots and posting desired scores, then we can do whatever needs to be done in order to have the thing we desire.
So as you prepare your 2008 golf season you will need to learn how to create a visualization session, a session that allows you to visually anticipate the golf game you wish to have this year.
The word “visualization” refers to what we can see, and of course you want to have visual cues. Find pictures of what you want, or draw one yourself. Create a picture in your mind, and describe it in writing. Make it vivid, colorful, attractive and detailed. You can add to this picture during your visualization sessions, but this will serve as a basis. But don't forget the other senses. Imagine hearing from your playing partners how your golf game is improving, your hitting it longer, straighter, better scores, etc.
Remember, you want to create vivid pictures related to being and doing as well as having. The being part may work better with auditory images, such as imagining someone saying to you “My goodness, how did you manage to improve so much with your golf game this year?”
As I have mentioned before, it's important that your beliefs be consistent with your desires. In general, there shouldn't be a conflict of values – you want to be sure that you think that what you want is good, both for you and for those around you.
You also need to believe that what you desire is actually attainable, at least theoretically, even though you don't yet see how it can come about for you. You will necessarily be stretching your belief limits, because you don't yet have the thing you desire, and you want to be careful not to stretch them too far, or they might snap in your face like a rubber band. This is why the choice of what you want to visualize is so important, especially when you are starting out. Each success will increase your confidence in the process, and you can gradually become more daring.
Begin to understand that the game you desire must first be visualized in your mind, before it can materialize in front of you on the course.
I will continue with this topic throughout the month, next I will introduce to you a method that will need to be imlemented on a small scale at first for the coming year. This method will naturally unfold in front of you, and if you stick to it, your game will improve faster than you ever have improved before!!
Jan 1, 2008, Create a Power Approach to Your Golf Game This Year!
With last year behind us, we sweep away the old and welcome the new. 2007 was the 9th year in the nine numerical cycle. Now 2008 is the first of our newest 9 year cycle.
So with this really being a very new beginning in more ways than one, it is very important that you take a serious look at the methods and techniques you previously have attempted to improve your golf game.
Simply put, if they have not worked so far, it is time for a change!
This change will need to have a special power behind it. The power of determination must be behind your attempt to improve your game.
As I have wrote about before, you need a plan to figure out where you wish to go. Without the plan (path) to the goal implemented you really have no way of getting to your desires and dreams.
As the new year begins it is imperative that you obtain a powerful belief in the path you wish to go down. Passively attempting to improve your golf game will get you nowhere. Look where it has gotten you so far.
This power feeling could be confused with an anxiety feeling of not having created that which you desire so far. Do not let that be the case. Anxiety is a fear based thought attracting negative energy and outcomes.
By placing power and energy behind your dreams and a plan that you commit to, the universe must assist you in your desires. It is that simple.
However, you must be persistant in your approach to the better game you wish to have.
Make this new approach begin by breaking down the areas that you wish to improve on the most and in what order. Be realistic in your assessment. Once you have the list of items you wish to address, prioritize them based on what you can work on now (if you are in a snow area) and those that you can work on in a few months.
Next create a plan to work on each area that you desire to improve upon AND have a backup plan for every one of the desires you wish to work on.
Donald Trump has 13 backup plans for every project he undertakes. Approach your game this year the same way with power, energy and plans to change your game.
Only you can change your game, and with the right power and passion behind you success will be yours. Make 2008 a season you will not forget! Rather than the 2007 season you just left and wished had been better!
Dec 22, 2007, Are You Aware of What Thoughts You Use When You Play?
So what is the thought behind each of your swings? You have many different opportunities for thought with each individual shot. Probably way too many, so one thing to do should be to notice what it is you are thinking about while on the course.
Are you constantly thinking about the outcome of a particular shot? Are you re-living the shots you just made? Do the mechanics of your swing consume you while on the course?
Where is the focus for each of your shots and where is your mind leading you?
These are answers you must begin to find for the 2008 season in order to analyze where your mind is while on the course. Chances are you are going to find that the thoughts you have while approaching the ball in the fairway, or addressing it before you swing or hitting the ball while it sits there are not all positive!
In fact, you are immediately going to see how many negative thoughts you have out there on the course. These negative thoughts must be abandoned in order for you to move forward to create a better game for yourself.
Assessing your swing thought process will take some time, and the practice range is a great place to start that. You can even begin the process by simply analyzing your thoughts while you practice your putting in your house.
Because you have so much opportunity to fill your mind with clutter about your game while on the course, it is also a great idea to find places to clear your memory bank in your computer so you can start fresh with each shot.
That is why I always suggest to you to simply take in the surroundings that are around you and let go. As you can see, you have a lot to let go of! Your mind is constantly trying to fill you with thought after thought about your game and where you are heading.
Rather than walk from one shot to the next and think of what just happened, let go of that shot and turn your focus to the course around you. Enjoy the beauty of the color of the trees, the green grass, the water or mountains that surround you.
You don’t need to badger yourself or analyze every shot you make. Use your senses while out there to notice the beauty of the course and clear your mind of all negative thoughts. You need to teach yourself how to think on the course. Others have pointed this out in many books. Watch what you think, think positive thoughts, be happy while on the course, etc.
Those are all good points, but the reason behind those is the Law of Attraction, bringing you the results of what you are thinking. This law is a very simple one and very powerful and consistent. Your thoughts are deliberately creating the situations you are encountering while on the course.
Dec 15, 2007, How To Select The Best Golf Shot Each Time
When playing a round of golf I’m sure you have noticed from time to time how you have a hard time keeping your mind on the game. Your mind wanders off to thoughts about tomorrow or you are remembering what you forgot to do the previous day.
Concentrating on your golf game can be a challenge in itself for golfers of every ability level. When you see golfers on TV they seem zeroed in, their face stern and steady with little emotion. Are they really that wrapped up in the golf game? Do you have to be the same way in order to better your game while on the course?
Well let’s hope not, after all we are supposed to “Lighten up…and enjoy the game” you know. So how do you accomplish this while on the course? Well, accomplish is the key word here….what are you trying to accomplish each time you swing and play a hole?
To find this you must determine what you want to create each time you step up on the tee of a hole you are going to play. Par, birdie, perhaps a bogey is all you wish. Next comes the shot in front of you, where do you want it to go? This is considered focusing intentionally on a specific shot or creation that you are trying to produce.
One of the keys here is for you to objectively look at yourself and ask “how do I feel about this shot?” Let’s say you are on the tee of a par four with three bunkers on the right of the fairway and a marsh land to the left of the fairway. The bunkers are about 220 yards out leaving 150 yards into the green.

Dec 11, 2007, Is There A Way To Conquer Your Golf Game?
Many players have attempted conquering golf in their lifetime. Whether tour player or amatuer, at some level golfers are attempting to beat the game that seems to constantly beat them!
Is there a hidden winning formula in golf istruction that that perhaps you do not know about to deliberately create the golf game you desire?
Is there a blue print for success that you can follow to insure your game improves and reaches new levels?
The Answer is - YES
If you understand the creative forces behind your golf game.
There are several forces that are directly responsible for the creation of your current golf game.
These forces when used properly and understood can catapult your golf game to new never before seen levels of achievement. The creative process is a law driven process based on the many different laws of the universe.
However as The Alcero Method suggests, this process is primarily focused on your thoughts beliefs and emotions behind your swing, particular shots and overall golf game.
However the key to understanding all of this is that your golf is a direct result of your thoughts and images of your mind which are then expressed in physical form for you to experience as you play.
Your golf game you experience every day you play or practice is the direct result of your beginning thought process behind your game!
How is that possible? What are these forces that create your golf game? What specifically are the areas the foundation of your current game is built on?
To understand this we need to look at different areas that are directly responsible for your creations.
They include the quantum golf plane, time, images or visualization, your being, thinking and speaking and your goals

Dec 8, 2007, How To Access Your Desired Field Of Golf Possibilities
The quest for mastering the game of golf has been attempted for over 100 years and while some have come to win at the level they desire to, most other golfers fall terribly short of the possible vision they once had when they took up the game. Golfers continue to look for golf instruction that can change their game.
You may know of individuals who play to a higher level than yourself, certainly you know of tour players who have taken their games to higher levels and become very successful. However, have you reached the pinnacle of your game yet?
Do you even know where that pinnacle would be?
The way to improve your game is to really look at it from the end result you wish to accomplish. You must see the milestone at the end, and then create the path to lead you there. That path has many ways of achievement, so it is important to understand that it can occur in multiple possible ways and being attached to a particular or certain path only will delay your eventual outcome. Remember the universe we live in offers infinite ways to create any desire you have. However, without the vision of where you wish to go, the path is non-existent. There is nothing available to connect you from the path to your destination.
This is where so many in golf fall short.
Most golfers do not have a specific vision of where they really wish to go. Without a vision, how would the universe or life’s source ever be able to support you in your desire? Surely you have had visions of other areas in your life and you have met them. If you reflect on those visions, you will see that you had a certain amount of belief that you would attain them. That belief varied from time to time based on circumstances around you. However, eventually you reached your dreams in one fashion or another.
For you to have success in your golf game you must first obtain, create and implement a vision of where you wish to go. What are your desires? What type of swing are you trying to create? What scores do you wish to post. What tournaments do you wish to win? These questions put you on the path to your vision. The possibilities of that path or numerous, or infinite really. The key for your attaining those visions is to understand the field in which they are created.

Dec 3, 2007, How To Welcome New Challenges With Your Golf Game
The creation of shots you desire has many possible scenarios on the course and it is important to take each and every shot one at a time with an open mind. By that I mean you must look at different possibilities of shots that you can attempt.
There is no one perfect shot for every circumstance. Your shots can get there in more ways than one, and many times it is a very good idea to “get out of your box,” and open your mind to new shots you have never tried before.
The best students I see are the one's who are “up for the challenge” of any situation confronting them on the course. These challenges are so enticing to them that they sometimes makes it a point to call me after one of their rounds to tell me of the unbelievable shot they faced and the solution they came up with that particular time.
